House-Museum Unamuno
The rector of the University of Salamanca in 1900 has his home-museum dedicated to perpetuating his memory. His home can be visited as well as the personal library and archive of the writer.

Located in one of the patios of the Escuelas Menores the "El Cielo de Salamanca" forms part of the dome of the old University library. The museum also houses other lithurgical elements from the XVI and XVII centuries. In the old University building, a collection of reptiles are of great paleontologic interest.

In the surroundings you can find beautiful landscapes and typical villages in the Peña de Francia, Sierra de Béjar and Arribes del Duero.

Travel information

Coming from Madrid: Once in Salamanca, cross the Enrique Estevan Bridge, take Gran Vía, straight on to Mirat Avenue and turn left at the traffic lights.
You can find us in C/ Azafranal, 21, in the city center.
Just at the back of the hotel, you can find the most important shopping street in Salamanca, Toro Street, and within three minutes walking, you will be at the historical and monumental old town of Salamanca, with its churches, monuments & museums.
